BehaviorQ: We have an austrailian kelpie and a black mouth cur dog. we adopted the kelpie when she was 7 weeks old and adopted the black mouth cur about 4 months after the kelpie. we were told he was about a year old. our problem is that the kelpie is very aggressive and jealous of the other dog. she immediately starts attacking and biting him anywhere she can on his body. he does nothing to start this behavior. it seems to be worse whenever one of us goes outside to spend time with them. they are both wonderful dogs as far as affection towards us but the kelpie just can't stand buddy getting any attention at all. we did not know just how high strung the kelpie was until researching her breed and realized we had a very high energy dog and wanted to help her out by getting her a companion dog. he definitely helps her use up her energy but not always in a positive way. our dogs stay outside unless the weather is bad and we bring them in. can you please help us stop this bad behavior in the kelpie. thank you.
